Over the years, CNGE has established a germanium material refining and processing base with a certain scale by virtue of the advantages of advanced equipment and long-term technology accumulation. Through technological reform and production expansion in the past two years, our capacity of germanium is among the top 3 in the country, and we have a certain capacity scale advantage in the upstream.

Through continuous exploration, we have created “from scratch” germanium precipitation technology – germanium precipitation process in the field of zinc wet smelting and recovery of small metals, and become a 100% independent research and development and mastering of non organic germanium precipitation technology in China.

At present, the 60 germanium (germanium dioxide containing 60% germanium) technology development project has been completed and put into operation, processing low-grade germanium slag, producing germanium oxide and providing raw materials to other deep processing plants.

CNGE has completed the production line of infrared germanium products, realizing the scale processing and production from zone melting germanium to germanium monocrystal and infrared germanium lens. Meanwhile, it has the ability to develop and prepare infrared industrial temperature measurement lenses and systems, realizing the extension of infrared germanium industry chain and enhancing the added value of the products.
