Market Change of Germanium Lens Before the Spring Festival

The domestic market of germanium lens has not improved recently as raw germanium price is still down.

Price of germanium lens was lowered again by USD90 per kg in the past week.

As the market cost continues to decline, purchases from our regular customers are becoming more cautious.

Previously, they were afraid of high prices to buy in, and now it is dominated by pessimism. They are afraid to fill the inventory easily, and worried about stepping empty.

With the Spring Festival approaching, we began to arrange the holiday production plan, and also give priority to using the inventory in the factory.

We are worried about the logistics disruption caused by CNY holiday.

Under the superposition of multiple factors, the overall activity of the market is not high, and the cold atmosphere continues.

There may be a small number of replenishment purchases released before the Spring Festival, but the overall market of Germanium metals is unlikely to improve.

It is expected that the germanium lens price will remain at USD2200 per kg in a few days, and the possibility of continuing to fall under the influence of pessimism is not ruled out.
